The first element is the type of entity in which the item sits – this can be “artist” or “grouping”
The second element is the id of the entity in which the item sits – either an artist id or a grouping id
The third element can be blank (but the preceding underscore must be present) and is optionally a category restriction, like “Painting” or “British”, etc
